48 HOUR FILM PROJECT is like no other competition and gives filmmakers
the chance to showcase their talent in an original and creative form.
Filmmaking teams of all levels will write, shoot and edit their films
beginning Friday, June 6th at 7 p.m. and must deliver a finished movie
4-7 min. by 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 8th. They will each receive a
genre, a character, a prop and a line of dialogue that must be worked
into their piece. All entries will screen at River Oaks Theatre on
June 11-12 at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Each filmmaker is responsible for

Filmmakers awarded cash and equipment grants to local and regional

assistance to independent and emerging media makers who live in the

LINE FESTIVAL Announces 2008 Call For Entries:Texas Filmmakers, a
not-for-profit arts organization, announces the Call for Entries for
the 2008 Thin Line Film Fest held September 24th-28th. Thin Line
refers to the idea that all documentaries are both fact and fiction,
that although based in reality, the original truth is often reshaped by
the filmmaking process. Thin Line Fest explores this gray area between
fact and fiction by screening any film that adheres to the style of
documentary filmmaking; including mockumentaries, docu-fictions,

FILMWORKS is seeking cast for their upcoming HD feature film WALKING
