Fun with priorities
I'm 24 and living life to the fullest. I have a 2 year old beautiful baby boy. Acen is my inspiration in life, and my pride and joy. He is the center of my world. He is a combination of his father, and his mother. His mother and I didn't work out, but I wish her the best. She knows how to be a mother, and I'm thankful for that. My boy has 2 caring loving parents in his life. Not to mention the grandparents.....lol. Seems like I have to beat them away with a stick from time to time. : ).
See I don't regret my past, and I don't stress about what I can't change. I'm no super hero, although I may come off to some like that. lol. I have fun in whatever it is I'm doing. From golfing to building sandcastles, and from rock climbing to chilling with the family. I don't hold anything back, which gets me in a little deeper than I'd like sometimes. But what the heck, what's life without learning?
I have a big network of friends, and only want it to get bigger. I love to meet new people, and I do it on a daily basis. I guess that's why managing Boston Market suits me so great. Everday I get to see new smiling faces. I'm not the shy type so be prepared to laugh, and smile. The friends and I enjoy anything from darts to bowling, and from clubbing to the beach. We like to hangout alot, but they know when I have my son that it is our time. No offense, but it's father son time.
I'm 5'7"- 5'8" ish, I weigh around 165. I'm trying to get defined again, so bare with me.....lol. I like to workout and play sports. I took Acen to the golf course about 2 weeks ago, and it was so much fun. He had a blast. I like going to baseball games, and exploring the city. I have a huge ambition to see and know alot in life. My ego is to have fun, and my will is to love.
Thanks, for reading this and have an amazingly fun day-life. -JD-
Me
I'm moving to Tampa Florida
I need, and want your opinion on this one. I couldn't have a bigger decision to make in my life right now. As some may know, I manage Boston Market. Boston Market for those not familiar, is a homestyle resturaunt. One of my great, and closest friends is the general manager of Boston Market. Later this year he is going to florida to take over some stores that are not doing so well. He has offered me to go with him, and move up in the company also. I'm already fast-tracking my career in Boston Market. There is a good chance that I can become a general manager by August of this year. Thing is, the job is in Florida. How cool would that be? Being 24 and a general manager.
For alot of people this kind of decision is a no brainer. What I havn't mentioned, and what alot of you already know is I have a two year old son. Bingo! That's why this decision is so hard for me. I love Acen so much. I can't stand to be away from him. Not even for a day. I recently called my father to ask him some questions. See my father moved out of state early in my life, which meant he moved away from me. He did this to better his career also. I can honestly say it paid off for him. Not that it didn't come with a price to pay. We have always been close, and I'm thinking if he didn't move away that today we wouldn't be as close as we are. I asked him, "If you loved me so much, how could you go so long without seeing me?" He said, "Son, It was the hardest on me. The only way I could go on was to distance myself from you. In which I mean, fill my days with other things just to try to keep my mind off you. Yes, when I did think about you, or happen to look at your picture I would cry. I wasn't trying to forget about you, only forget about the pain." Those are the words of my father, who has been exactly where I am in my life today.
So here's my question to you. How would you go about making this decision? Does anyone have any first hand experience? Anything at all will help.

It's time for Halloween Parties!!!!! Be careful!
The wife, after sleeping soundly for one hour, awakened without pain, and as it was still early, she decided to go to the party. In as much as her husband did not know what her costume was, she thought she would have some fun by watching her husband to see how he acted when she was not with him.
She joined the party and soon spotted her husband cavorting around on the dance floor, dancing with every nice chick he could, and copping a little feel here and a little kiss there. His wife sidled up to him and being a rather seductive babe herself, he left his partner high and dry and devoted his time to the new stuff that had just arrived.
She let him go as far as he wished; naturally, since he was her husband. Finally he whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed, so off they went to one of the cars and had a little bang.
Just before unmasking at midnight, she slipped away and went home and put the costume away and got into bed, wondering what kind of explanation he would make for his behavior.
She was sitting up reading when he came in and asked what kind of a time he had. He said, "Oh, the same old thing. You know I never have a good time when you're not there."
Then she asked, "Did you dance much?"
He replied, "I'll tell you, I never even danced one dance. When I got there, I met Pete, Bill Brown and some other guys, so we went into the den and played poker all evening. But I'll tell you... the guy I loaned my costume to sure had a real good time!"
